Coverage

What Our Warranty Covers

Every repair performed at Auto Repair Sparks is backed by a standard 2-year / 24,000-mile parts-and-labor warranty, whichever comes first, unless a specific part carries a different manufacturer warranty (in which case we'll tell you upfront and honor whichever term is longer). This applies to the repair itself (the specific component we replaced or fixed and the labor to install it), not to unrelated parts of your vehicle.

Terms

Warranty Terms

  • Coverage begins on the date of your invoice
  • Standard term is 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first
  • Warranty is transferable if you sell the vehicle within the coverage period
  • Some manufacturer-supplied parts carry their own separate warranty term. We'll always disclose this on your invoice
  • Your original invoice serves as proof of warranty coverage; keep it on file
Included

What's Included

  • The specific part(s) we installed or repaired
  • Labor associated with that repair
  • Re-diagnosis if the original issue reappears within the warranty period
  • Defective parts, regardless of the manufacturer
Excluded

What's Excluded

  • Normal wear items unrelated to the original repair (tires, wiper blades, brake pads from separate wear)
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or driving after a known issue was flagged and declined
  • Modifications or repairs performed by another shop after our work was completed
  • Pre-existing conditions not part of the original repair scope
  • Damage from environmental events (flood, hail, collision) unrelated to the repair
Claims Process

Filing a Warranty Claim Is Simple

No hoops to jump through, here's exactly what happens.

1

Call or Bring It In

Call us or bring your vehicle back to the shop and describe what's happening, no separate claims department to deal with.

2

We Pull Your Invoice

We look up your original repair using your invoice or vehicle info to confirm the issue is within warranty scope.

3

We Re-Inspect at No Charge

We diagnose the issue again, at no cost to you, to confirm it's connected to the original repair.

4

We Make It Right

If it's covered, we repair it at no additional cost for parts or labor. If it's outside warranty scope, we'll explain why and give you an honest estimate.
