Steering Repair
Death wobble diagnosis and front-end component replacement.
Learn moreFrom a trail-ready Wrangler to a daily-driver Grand Cherokee, our ASE-certified technicians know Jeep's steering, suspension, and electrical quirks, including death wobble and TIPM gremlins. wiTECH diagnostics, honest pricing, and warranty-safe repair.

Jeeps have a loyal following in Sparks, and Wrangler and Grand Cherokee owners in particular tend to have distinct concerns: steering stability on solid-axle models, and electrical reliability on certain model years. Our ASE-certified technicians service Jeeps every week, using genuine wiTECH diagnostic software instead of a generic code reader.
Every model year and platform has its own known wear points. These are the Jeep-specific issues we diagnose most often. Always confirmed against your vehicle's actual condition, not assumed from the model alone.
If it wears a Jeep badge, we've likely already worked on one just like it.
A general guide. Always cross-checked against your specific model and use case.

We diagnose Jeep vehicles using wiTECH, the same software Jeep and Stellantis dealerships use, not a generic OBD-II reader. That means we can read manufacturer-specific fault codes, test the TIPM directly, and access factory service data, all without dealership wait times or dealership pricing.
We use OEM Jeep/Mopar parts or verified equivalent-quality aftermarket parts depending on the repair and your preference. We'll always tell you which option we're recommending and why before any work begins.
No. Under federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), routine maintenance and repairs performed at an independent shop like ours don't void your Jeep's factory warranty, as long as the work meets manufacturer specifications, which is exactly how we service every Jeep that comes through our doors.
Death wobble is a violent front-end shake, usually triggered by a bump, caused by worn steering and suspension components on solid front-axle Jeeps like the Wrangler. Yes, we diagnose and repair it, it usually comes down to worn track bar bushings, tie rod ends, or ball joints, and we'll show you exactly which component is causing it.
It's a common culprit on certain Jeep model years. The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) controls a wide range of electrical functions, and when it starts failing it can cause seemingly unrelated glitches: random warning lights, fuel pump issues, or accessories that stop working. We can test the TIPM directly to confirm before recommending replacement.
